Grow Emotionally Before Physically

The moment you let yourself settle for anything less than better is the moment you let yourself down.

It's very hard to push yourself to where you want to be in life. It's scary. It's a place we are not comfortable with. It's a time in our lives where we have doubt.

On the other hand, think of all the good that can come from pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Doing things that we don't think we can is the best feeling in the world. Take sky diving for example. Not many people will ever have the courage to do something like that. But the fact is, many people have done this before you and me, and many of those people didn't think they could. Many of these people were completely out of their comfort zone. But they did it, and even though they were scared to death (literally), they still did it, and were just fine after it was over. And I'm almost sure that after they were done, most of them said, "I want to do that again".

It's the thrill of going through the experience, the build-up, the battle, the time fighting yourself and your courage. It's not about the end result, but totally about the change you personally go through emotionally during the climb to get there.

Take yourself out of your comfort zone in order to grow as a person. If you don't change mentally, the physical part probably won't happen. Getting yourself out of your comfort zone really helps you change emotionally, and fast.
